15-18 April 2026
The next international client consultation competition will be hosted by the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. Founded in 1776, the Faculty of Law in Zagreb is the oldest and most prestigious law school in Croatia. It offers comprehensive legal education and is a leading center for research in civil, public, and international law. With strong international ties and a tradition of academic excellence, it plays a key role in shaping the region’s legal landscape.
It is symbolic that the competition will be held in 2026, the year when the Faculty of Law and the University of Zagreb celebrate their 250th anniversary. Unfortunately, its beautiful central building was damaged in the 2020 earthquake and is currently out of use. The current main building, situated on the same square located in the very center of Zagreb, will serve as one of the two venues for the competition, with the Croatian State Archives as the second venue, just a five-minute walk away.
The Croatian State Archives is situated in an Art Nouveau building completed in 1913. It originally functioned as the National and University Library, featuring an elegant facade, a grand entrance hall, and richly decorated interior spaces. Today, it safeguards Croatia’s most important historical documents. In recent years, it has generously welcomed the Faculty to hold various events on its premises.
All competition venues are within 15 minutes walk!
